Learning about Yosemite helps Junior Rangers appreciate the park even more. Biology is the study of living things, and there are hundreds of species of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians in Yosemite to learn about. Each creature has its own habitat and habits that make it unique. Much of why Yosemite is protected land is to ensure that these amazing animals have a healthy place to live.
