Western Mono Girls Cradlebasket circa 1970s

Western Mono girl’s cradlebasket model. Made from willow sticks, redbud and sedgeroot in a traditional double-backed girl’s cradle design, with a finger woven yarn sash and decorated with glass bead tassels.

Handcrafted in the 1970’s by a member of the Western Mono tribe of California.

Measures 14 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches at its widest point.
