Big Wall Bats Sticker

Yosemite is home to 17 species of bats. Despite our interest, we know little about where bats roost. In addition, bats in North America are currently threatened by a fungus that causes a disease called White-Nose Syndrome increasing our need to understand their ecology and behavior.

Climbers are more likely than other visitors to observe bats because they use the same cracks and crevices.

Together we can help protect bats! Report bat observations to YOSE_BigWallBats@nps.gov
