Wildlife sightings can be a memorable part of your Yosemite visit. Whether it's the flash of blue from a Stellar's Jay flitting through the trees or a black bear ambling through a Valley meadow, seeing animals in the wild is a memorable experience, reminding us of our kinship with all creatures. To help raise understanding of wildlife in the park, Yosemite Conservancy helps fund critical wildlife research conducted by Yosemite National Park Service. These projects, in turn, inform strategies and conservation plans to help ensure the future of these wonderful animals.
