This double-backed woven cradle was made during the 1960's by the Western Mono people of central California. Made of willow sticks, redbud shoots, and sedge roots with a diamond motif and full hood. It is accented with dark orange paint, mimicking a more traditional alder dye. This cradle is sized for a doll at 19 1/2 inches tall and roughly 9 1/2 inches at the widest.
